NEW HAVEN — Mayor John DeStefano Jr. will hold four meetings on the proposed city budget at locations across the city “in order to provide New Haven residents with information” about the proposal for fiscal year 2013-14, according to a statement.
DeStefano “will provide an overview of the city’s proposed budget for fiscal year (2013-14) and answer questions from residents,” the statement said. “Residents are encouraged to attend these informational meetings in order to gain an understanding of both the city’s budget priorities and the challenges presented for the city as a result of the proposed state budget.” (Scroll down to read the budgets.)
The first presentation will be held at 6:30 p.m. March 19 at St. Bernadette’s Church, 385 Townsend Ave. The second presentation will be held at 7 p.m. March 27 at Roberto Clemente School, 360 Columbus Avenue. The final two session will be at dates to be announce in April.
