Annual celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. legacy slated

NEW HAVEN - The Annual Martin Luther King Conference presents a celebration of the legacy of the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., “Our D.R.E.A.M for Our World” from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Jan. 17 at Wexler-Grant Community School, 55 Foote St.


The event is free and open to the public. It will include workshops for children and adults, entertainment and a continental breakfast and hot lunch will be served, organizers said.
