Tai chi on the Terrace at the New Haven Public Library

NEW HAVEN — The public is invited to sign up now for the next 6-week series of tai chi on the Terrace at the New Haven Public Library, 133 Elm St.  Classes will be offered Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m., May 2-June 6, on the Terrace overlooking the New Haven Green.
This series is designed for adults at a beginners level, or as a refresher for those with some knowledge of tai chi. Instructor Kathleen Brenner will teach a 10-form set of Yang style tai chi which derives from the most widely practiced form in the world. Kathleen Brenner has studied tai chi for over 20 years and has won several gold, silver and bronze medals in international competitions.
A $25 fee will be collected at the first class to cover costs of instruction. Space is limited. Advance registration is required either online at www.taichimay2012.eventbrite.com or by calling the library at 203-946-8835.
