NEW HAVEN - Literacy Volunteers will hold its annual
Scrabble Challenge fundraiser from 5:30 to 8 p.m. April 25 at Gateway
Community College, according to a statement.
"Enjoy a fun evening of competitive four-person
Scrabble teams, raffles, a light dinner and a donation bar. All proceeds from the event help Literacy
Volunteers provide free reading and English conversation classes for adults
throughout the New Haven
and Valley communities," the statement said.
