The Sons of Italy, Greater New Haven Lodge #37, is sponsoring the 3rd Annual Ladies Luncheon to benefit cancer patients from 1 to 5 p.m. Nov. 24 at the Italian American Social Club, 41 Hamre Lane,Branford.
The luncheon’s theme is "Stand Up to Cancer," organizers said. The food and beverages will be prepared and served by the male members of Lodge #37. Music will be provided by Angelo Ruggiero, who will sing selections from the great standards. Gifts and prizes will be available to the women who attend the luncheon.
All proceeds will be donated to the Women’s Breast Health Center of the St. Raphael’ campus of Yale-New Haven Hospital, organizers said. The money will be used to fund special needs of cancer patients. Tickets may be purchased for $35 per person. There will be limited open seating so make your reservations early through Dan Masto at 27 Lamphiers Cove Road, Branford, 06504.
