BRANFORD – The town’s Chamber of Commerce is collaborating with United Way of Greater New Haven to create a new Community Engagement Component, which will help local businesses involve their employees in addressing community needs.
The engagement initiative will aid companies that want to be more involved in the community or help businesses identify needs or causes their employees can support.
United Way and Comcast Business Services will co-host a kickoff event at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Blackstone Memorial Library, 758 Main St., entitled “Community Connections: Making a Difference in Business & Life.”
Call Ed Lazarus, president of the Branford Chamber of Commerce, for more information or visit www.branfordct.com.
