The Connecticut roots/rock band Wise Old Moon will perform for the third 2016 Twilight Concert, on July 27, at the Pardee-Morris House, 325 Lighthouse Road, according to a release.
"The free outdoor performance is hosted by the New Haven Museum which owns and operates the historic site. The on-site food-truck for the evening will be Spuds Your Way," the release said. The rain date is August 3.
"Wise Old Moon ties traditional folk influences together with a unique brand of high energy, twanginfused indie rock, creating an eclectic sound that touches on many eras and genres. Since forming in 2013, the group has been nominated for five Connecticut Music Awards, and a New England Music Award for the category of 'Roots Act of the Year,' in 2016," the release noted. "The Hartford-based band has been showcasing its distinct brand of Americana and roots/rock around the Northeast following the late-2015 release of their sophomore album, 'Don’t Take Off“and appeared on WNPR’s 'Where We Live' in early 2016."

Grounds open at 6 p.m., the concert begins at 7 pm. The Pardee-Morris House will be open to visitors for tours till 8 p.m. The public is invited to bring blankets and chairs and enjoy a picnic on the lawn. Admission is free; donations are welcomed, the release said.
