WALLINGFORD — Volunteers are being sought to raise a future guide dog puppy and give the gift of independence to someone in need. Guiding Eyes for the Blind is looking for volunteers who want to raise Labrador retriever puppies for 14 – 16 months and receive weekly support from a local team as well as free vet care.
Pre-Placement classes for the Southern CT region begin Feb. 5 at noon.
Puppy classes are held weekly and bi-weekly (depending on level) in Wallingford , Guilford and Deep River.
