St. Patrick's Day Parade is around the corner
NEW HAVEN — It’s Parade Night, with live music, Feb. 23 at Anna Liffey’s Irish Pub & Restaurant, 17 Whitney Ave. A $5 cover charge will be donated to the Greater New Haven St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee.

Also, a ball to benefit the annual Greater New Haven St. Patrick’s Day parade will be held at the Yale Commons, with dancing, from 8 p.m. to midnight March 7.
Bernadette Smyth LaFrance will be named parade marshal. Also being honored from the Parade Committee are Carol Hackett, Ed Donadio and John O’Donovan. Robert Lane from the Knights of Columbus is another honoree. Wine and beer set-ups and station buffet. Tickets are $80 and available from Walter Nester at 239-9956 or wnesterjr@sbcglobal.net.

NEW HAVEN — A corned beef dinner will be served 1-5 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Knights of St. Patrick Club, 1533 State St. Tickets are $12 for adults; $5 children under 10.
