Bike racks to expand at Union Station

NEW HAVEN — The wheels of progress are turning to get more bicycle racks for commuters using Union Station.

The South Central Connecticut Regional Council of Governments is expected this month to approve a $145,000 grant to add 100 racks at the train station, while also marking 4.6 miles of bicycle lanes on several major streets through New Haven leading to the station.
