New Haven Public Library talk: energy and nutrition

NEW HAVEN - Nutrition Counselor Marannie Rawls-Philippe will present “Eating for Energy” from 1 to 2 p.m. Jan. 2 at the New Haven Public Library, 133 Elm St., according to a release.
The class will substitute for the weekly Library Yoga program at the library, and will explore nutritional sources of energy, the release said. 
There is no charge to attend, and registration is not required.
Rawls-Philippe is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as both a personal trainer and strength and cconditioning specialist, the release said. 
Rawls-Philippe "counsels on topics ranging from aging to starting a home-based fitness routine, the release said. 
She is currently enrolled at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition® studying dietary theories, lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods.
