The following is a list of area offices and institutions that are closed or have reduced service Monday in honor of Martin Luther King Day:
— U.S. Post Offices are closed
— Banks are closed
— Courts are closed
— Schools are closed
— State and federal offices are closed
— Town Halls are closed
— Metro-North Railroad will operate on a Saturday schedule with a few additional trains
— Local bus routes operated by Connecticut Transit in New Haven, as well as the Union Station Shuttle, will run on a normal weekday schedule. But Commuter Connection buses will operate on a reduced service schedule.
— Southern Connecticut State University, University of New Haven, Quinnipiac University and Yale University will not have classes
