Dedication celebration to honor Sinatra
NEW HAVEN — The U.S. Postal Service will tip its hat to Ol’ Blue Eyes with a stamp dedication at 11:30 a.m. Friday JUNE 6 at 129 Wooster St.
The Frank Sinatra Stamp Dedication, taking place in conjunction with Santa Maria Maddalena Societa, will remember Sinatra in a special New Haven “Wooster Street” tribute with music, guest speakers and Italian food. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
Additional parking is available at St. Andrew, 515 Chapel St. The first 120 guests will receive a free jar of Palmieri pizza sauce; Abate Apizza will give a free Sinatra stamp to every eat-in customer on event day and Ferrucci Italian Deli will give free samples of escarole & beans, organizers said.
