MADISON — “Positive Family Communication Workshop: Creating an Environment for Raising Healthy Kids” will be the topic at Fellowship Hall, North Madison Congregational Church, 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 6.
Facilitated by Taffy Bowes of Madison Youth & Family Services and social worker Kerry Graham Shay, the free workshop is designed to give parents the tools to understand their own behavior patterns and responses to stress. It is also designed to help parents develop ways to speak with their children in a positive, respectful manner.
