Men’s health topic of talk at Griffin Hospital



DERBY – Griffin Hospital will hold a free men’s health talk and free prostate cancer screening at 6 p.m. June 18 at the hospital’s Meditation and Learning Center, 130 Division St.
Dr. Brian Sperling will present “What’s a Man to Do?”, “an open discussion of men’s health issues with a special focus on prostate cancer, low testosterone and sexual health,” according to a release. Attendees will receive a “Play for Free Card” for the Sports Center of Connecticut in Shelton and those over 50 years old can have a free Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) blood test, the release said.
“The presentation is part of Griffin Hospital's Healthy U “Tuesday Talks,” a series of free wellness talks featuring Griffin Hospital medical experts and community partners providing trusted health information and answers to questions on a wide range of topics,” the release said.
Light refreshments will be served.
