WOODBRIDGE - The Jewish Coalition for Literacy will honor its volunteer reading partners with Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast to be held at 9 a.m. May 21 at the Jewish Community Center, 360 Amity Road, organizers said in a release.
State Commissioner of Education Stefan Pryor and New Haven Superintendent of Schools Garth Harries will help to honor the agency’s volunteer reading partners, the release said. The volunteers meet with their students weekly in the New Haven School system, the release said. The event is free and open to the public.
