The crew and the schooner Amistad, the ship shown in the Elm City Express masthead above, will depart Freetown, Sierra Leone on Sunday after a stay of about a month, and will continue on an historic 14,000-mile "Atlantic Freedom Tour."
The Amistad is scheduled to return to New Haven in June or early July.
