Imam slates chat on Ramadan, Islamic faith

Join Imam Abdul Majid Karim Hasan, resident imam of the Abdul Majid Karim Hasan Islamic Center in Hamden, from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Wednesday for a live chat on the upcoming month of Ramadan and the Islamic faith.
Ramadan is the month when the Qur’an was revealed.
Muslims fast during the month for spiritual cleansing.
The month-long observance is also dedicated to extra prayers, studying the Qur’an and giving additional charity.
