NEW HAVEN — A concert as a fundraiser for hurricane relief will be held at noon Saturday at Dwight Chapel on the Yale campus, 67 High St.
The concert will include a performance of Terry Riley’s “In C,” a “piece that is generally performed by a flexible collective of musicians, and that has a long history of social activism,” organizers said.
Donations being sought include: cleaning supplies, such as rubber gloves and cleaning solutions; warm clothes, including socks; and for those who do not have items to donate, money, organizers said.
The items will be taken to a shelter in New Jersey, which will distribute the goods to those in need, organizers said.
