New Haven Public Library: Author John Barricelli to share recipe tips and more

NEW HAVEN - The New Haven Public Library will act as host for "a special appearance" by TV personality and cookbook author John Barricelli from 6 to 7 p.m. Dec. 12.
The library is at 133 Elm St.

"A third-generation baker who began his cooking career at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, Barricelli has worked in NYC restaurants like River Cafe and the Four Seasons, and has been a restaurant owner for 20 years," according to a library statement.
"For many years he worked at Martha Stewart’s magazines and television and radio shows. He was also the host of the PBS show 'Everyday Baking.' He is a familiar participant in New Haven Farmers Markets, bringing goodies from his popular SoNo Bakery in Norwalk."
Barricelli will share recipes and samples from his newest book, "The Seasonal Baker: Easy recipes from my kitchen to make year-round," the statement said.
The event is free and copies of the book will be available for purchase. For details visit www.seasonalbaker.eventbrite.com or call the library at 203-946-8835.
