Refugee agency opens thrift shop in Fair Haven

Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services has opened a thrift shop called Clothes without Borders at 900 Grand Ave., New Haven.

The IRIS store sells mainly gently used clothing, accessories, household items, collectibles and some furniture. All proceeds will benefit IRIS, which helps resettle refugees in the area.

The shop’s hours are: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday to Thursday; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. For more information, e-mail IRIS Director Chris George at cgeorge@irisct.org.
