HAVEN - Believe in Me Empowerment Corporation, which provides programming for
youths, will hold a fundraiser beginning at 8 p.m. June 28 at Kelly’s Gastro Pub, 196 Crown St., according to a release.
“The services provided by Believe in Me are vital for many
members of the com-munity, but we cannot do our work alone,” organizers said in
the release. “Please join us at our 2nd annual fundrais-er, we are relying on
the generosity of those people who recognize that contributing to the strength
of a community is not mere charity, but a long-term, worth-while investment in
the future.”
The event will include food and live
entertainment, the release said. is $30
per person, $55 per couple and $35
per person at the door
