Chapel Haven to hold open house


NEW HAVEN – Chapel Haven will hold an open house and tour for interested families from 9 to 11 a.m. Oct. 1
Visotors can enjoy a light breakfast, meet students and staff, take part in fun activities and tour Chapel Haven's two programs to learn more about how this nationally acclaimed agency can provide the path to a fulfilling adult life. Participants will have the chance to tour two of Chapel Haven's transitional programs – the REACH program for adults with mild developmental disabilities and autism and the Asperger's Syndrome Adult Transition (ASAT) program.
Chapel Haven is located at 1040 Whalley Ave., New Haven (www.chapelhaven.org).
Chapel Haven was founded in 1972 and provides a lifelong program of individualized support services for adults with cognitive and social disabilities, enabling them to live independent and productive lives. The agency celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2012.
