Winter tai chi at the New Haven Public Library

NEW HAVEN — Kathleen Brenner will offer an indoor winter tai chi series 10:30-11:30 a.m. Saturdays Feb. 11 to March 24 at New Haven Public Library, 133 Elm St.
This series is designed for adults at a beginner level, or as a refresher for those with some experience of tai chi. Participants will learn a 10-form set of Yang style tai chi. Participants can expect to have the sequence of movements memorized well enough by the end of the series that they can practice on their own.
Space is limited and registration is required. Register online at www.wintertaichi.eventbrite.com or by calling the library at 203-946-8835. A $25 series fee will be collected at the first class to cover costs of instruction.

Editor's note: All information and the photo of Brenner in this post were contributed.
