DANBURY — His Holiness the Dalai Lama will come to Western Connecticut State University in October 2012 for two public talks on Oct. 18 (“The Art of Compassion”), and Oct. 19 (“Advice for Daily Life”). The talks will be in the Feldman Arena of the O’Neill Center on the WCSU Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Ext.
Ticket prices will range from $20 to $200, based on proximity to the stage. To ensure a fair distribution of tickets, tickets will be sold by random draw.
There will be no online ticket sales for this event.
Ticket requests were to accepted beginning at 10 a.m. on June 25, at www.wcsu.edu/tickets.
Names will be drawn at random and posted on www.wcsu.edu/tickets.
Once a name has been posted, tickets must be purchased by July 15.
When the guest contacts the WCSU Box Office within the allotted time period, Box Office staff will verify that the guest has received an invitation to purchase tickets. Once verified, the guest will have the opportunity to purchase a maximum of two (2) tickets.
For guests who do not purchase tickets, the Dalai Lama’s appearances will be simulcast to a remote location to be announced.
