'Explore Portugal July 18 at New Haven Public Library'

The public is invited to "learn a bit about Portugal"  in a free program at 6 p.m. July 18,  at the New Haven Public Library, 133 Elm St.
 "At Large in Portugal" will be presented by Victoria Navin, who lived in Spain for two years and has traveled extensively on the Iberian Peninsula, organizers said in a statement.
Navin "will share photographs and impressions of this beautiful country," the statement said.
"With 350 miles of coastline it is no surprise that Portugal is a popular vacation destination.It has also been in the news recently in light of European Union economic struggles," the statement said.
