St. Vincent’s 'Look Good Feel Better Program' for female cancer patients meets Oct. 11




BRIDGEPORT - St. Vincent's Look Good Feel Better program will meet again from 1 to 3 p.m. Oct. 11 in the Elizabeth Pfriem SWIM Center for Cancer Care adjacent St. Vincent's Medical Center, 2800 Main St., according to a statement.

The program is co-sponsored by St. Vincent's SWIM Across the Sound and the American Cancer Society, the statement said.

"This meeting is a supportive first step toward renewed self-esteem and self-confidence for women undergoing radiation and/or chemotherapy treatment," the statement said. "By promoting emotional recovery, the program helps women look and feel their best.


Reservations are required for the event. Call 203-576-6158. Lunch will be provided and free parking is available in new garage
