“We hope many people come to have breakfast with their elected representative,” Andrea Aldrich, chairwoman of Voter Services for the Hamden-North Haven League said in a statement. “You acquire a different feel about what goes on in the state Legislature after you have had a breakfast with the person who represents you in Hartford.”
Advance registration is appreciated and those who plan to attend should call Aldrich at 203-530-6890.
“The League of Women Voters works on the local, state, and national levels to increase understanding of public policy issues, to encourage informed and active participation in government, and through education and advocacy to influence public policy,” the statement said. “The League neither supports nor opposes candidates for political office and welcomes as members individuals of all political persuasions.”
