The Hobbit: Party with the Stratford Library

STRATFORD - The Stratford Library will hold a Hobbit Party for children and adults ages 8 to 88 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Jan. 19 in the Library’s Lovell Room, 2203 Main St
"Hobbits are fantastical characters in JRR Tolkien’s classic novel, currently on movie screens, and they love parties," the library said in a release. "At the party, children will be invited to play Smaug’s Treasure Hunt board game, go on a quest, write their name in runes and enjoy other hobbit activities."
As with every Hobbit Party, cake and presents will be served to guests, the release said.
Registration is required.
To register or for more information, call the Children’s Department at 203.385.4165 or visit: www.stratfordlibrary.org.
