New Haven's Sound School to hold open house

The Sound School Regional Vocational Aquaculture Center will hold an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 19 at The Foote Building, 17 Sea St.

The event will be a chance to meet the principal, teachers and students, officials said.
It also will offer time to learn about and ask questions related to the Aquaculture and Agriculture programs offered by the school.
Participants can take a campus tour and explore the science and waterfront laboratories. Tours start promptly at 6 p.m., officials said.
Refreshments will be served.
