NEW HAVEN — The New Haven Chapter of Links, Inc. will hold a scholarship fundraiser, “Honoring Tradition Through Philanthropy” from 8 p.m. to midnight on Nov. 5 at the New Haven Museum, 114 Whitney Ave.
The Links will use proceeds to provide $1,000 Book Scholarship Awards to college-bound students. More than $270,000 in scholarships has been given to students.
Local philanthropists Carlton Highsmith, Howard K. Hill and Paul McCraven will be honored at the black-tie event.
Admission is $75. Parking is free.
New Haven Links chapter was established in 1972. Members serve the community with sisterly love through the National Trends and Services, Arts, International Trends and Services and Services to Youth programs.
