“Wing ding” on the menu for Saturday in New Haven

NEW HAVEN — Metropolitan Business Academy will revive a New Haven Coliseum tradition by holding a chicken “wing ding” Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the school.
The fundraiser will help freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors at the school afford field trips, proms, end-of-the-year picnics and other activities.
Participants will be able to try wings from area restaurants, including Archie Moore’s, Old School Saloon and Bistro, Box 63, Pizza Hut, Southern Wings Express and Chili’s. The restaurants are donating their food.
The cost is $5 for six wings and a bottle of water or $10 for 12 wings and the water bottle.
There will also be a raffle, Valentine’s Day gifts, coffee and baked goods.
The school is at 115 Water St.
