St. Andrew the Apostle Society to honor two Nrew Haven residents, planning annual festa
NEW HAVEN - The St. Andrew the Apostle Society is beginning to prepare for its Annual
Italian Festa in honor of St. Andrew the Apostle, the patron saint of Amalfi, Italy, according to a release.
The event is the only Italian festival held
in historic Wooster Square, the release said.
The Society will kick off
its 114thwith a dinner to be held on May 18 at Anthony’s Ocean View in New Haven. Tickets are is $45 (includes open bar). Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres begin at n. At a full course dinner of Surf & Turf will be served followed by desserts and coffee.
The event will be followed by the Italian Feast, which runs June 26- June 29.The
