City Point residents to replace cut-down trees

NEW HAVEN — Residents of City Point will be putting shovels in the ground today to bring back some of the beauty and quiet of Bayview Park.

Neighbors, with help from the city’s Community Greenspace program, will plant several evergreens between 5:30 and 7:30 this evening on the “monument side” of the park, which runs next to Sixth Street.
